For micro-macrame, simple or complex beading projects, bead crochet, cordmaking, kumuhimo braiding, half-hitching, Cavandoli tapestry knotting, tatting... The nylon #18 thread was originally designed for hand stitching for the upholstery industry.
Personal Note :: I purchased this line of nylon #18 as an alternative to Mastex Nylon #18. I use just a few colors in combination with C-Lon Bead Cord, Mastex and Conso Nylon #18. It is more slippery, so harder to knot for beginners, and stiffer than all the other nylon brands. But some of the colors are unique. It has the blackest black, the darkest navy and a gorgeous jade color. Beadsmith is no longer reordering colors other than Black & White. Many colors are already no longer available.
