This cord has a high count of braiding elements per inch. The braiding elements are fine and cross each other closely.
It is a bit thinner than the Medium Weight, but as it is more tightly braided and dense, rounder and a bit stiffer, and it knots to a larger size than the Medium Weight. This cord has a matte cord finish, holds knots well with nice grip, and is very consistent by Chinese Knotting Cord standards.

40 Colors - Dye lots vary. Colors with the same names and color code are usually the same, but dye lots sometimes shift noticeably. When a color shifts, a new color number or subnumber is created to differentiate the dye lots available. Ltd denotes dye lots not currently available in spools.
