JEWELRY KITS > CHAIN STITCH BEAD CROCHET TUTORIAL, MATERIALS & TOOL GUIDE
Chain Stitch Bead Crochet is one of the main bead crochet techniques and it is the simplest one. It involves making a series of chain stitches into a chain stitch sennit with added beads every few stitches. The chain stitch is the easiest stitch to learn in crochet. Although the process is simple and straightforward, it gets a bit more complicated with questions like these: Which size crochet hook should I use? Which cord is the best? How do I attach the beads? What about the cord ends? How do I block the piece and what's blocking anyway?
The manual includes 4 projects, with projects 1 and 4 as full step-by-step instructions with photos for every step, and technical tips to elevate your bead crochet jewelry-making skills to a professional level.
This manual has been in the making for a long time. As I wrote it, I discovered some new techniques I'm excited to share that have not been published yet or discussed elsewhere. This manual will take you step by step, and you will learn new skills with each project. There is a lot to learn and explore with this simple technique, and I already plan for a sequel to explore other aspects of chain stitch bead crochet and more project possibilities.
